Powered serial cards are used primarily in retail point of sale systems to allow devices
to be powered from the PC. They are ideal for connecting and powering peripherals
such as barcode readers, printers, card readers, and display units.
Each card has selectable power options. Ground or 12V can be selected on pin 1
of each port and 12V or 5V can be selected on pin 9 of each port.
All the products on this page are based on Brainboxes high performance LYNX chip
with massive 128byte FIFO buffers to ensure smooth and reliable data transfer.
